Recently I stumbled onto another app that pays. Okay, it’s more like I finally payed attention to the big glaring sign at the bottom of my Walmart store receipt. What I found there was the web address for Walmart’s Savings Catch app.
What Is Walmart’s Savings Catcher App?
Walmart boasts that they have unbeatable prices and now they are taking an extra step to prove it by providing their customers with an app designed to find you the lowest price on the items you purchase from their stores.
Walmart’s Saving Catcher tool compares the prices of the items you buy to any similar items in their local competitors weekly digital and printed ads. In my area it scans over 27 different stores! If they find an item you purchased was advertised for less, they will actually refund you the difference and deposit into a Walmart eGift card.
How Does The Savings Cather App Work?
You fill first need to either download the Savings Catcher app or create an account on the Walmart website. Once you have an account simply enter a valid receipt number or scan the bar code using Walmart’s app.
Minimum Purchase Or Other Requirements? There are no minimum purchase requirements. Just submit your receipts within seven days of purchasing the item. However, no more than seven receipts can be submitted each week.
How Do I Get My Savings? Once your receipt is validated and any savings have been “caught” they are deposited into your rewards account. You have the ability to let it accumulate for as long as you want or transfer your money onto a Walmart Rewards eGift card. If you don’t remember to transfer your refund onto an eGift card at the end of the year then Walmart will automatically do it for you. You will never have to worry about loosing your savings.
So there you have it, another easy to use app that helps keep more of your hard earned money in your pocket.
