These five free back to school apps will help your family stay organized and have a more successful school year. Some of these apps my family uses every day, like the Cozi Family app while other’s like the Life 360 app we will be using as the boys get older. I hope you find this list as helpful as we do.
Free Back To School Apps
School A to Z Ever wish that your child had a tutor at their fingertips? The School A to Z app will quickly find an answer to the questions your child types into it. Simple, easy and free!
Cozi Family Organizer is a great way for your entire family to stay connected. This app and website allows you to share a family calendar, schedules, lists (think shopping and chores), store your recipes and more. Each person can even be assigned their own color so you can quickly see who will be where. As a visual person I find this very appealing.
Evernote is a fee app that will help your student organize homework assignments, take notes for class, make lists and more. It even allows you to sync those assignments and lists across all your families devices which will help you as a parent stay on top of your kids school work as well.
Easy Reader is quickly becoming one of my favorite apps. As avid readers we constantly borrowing books from the library and to be honest have paid more than one late fee. With the Overdrive app you can borrow a multitude of both educational and storytime e-books from public libraries as well as the local school library.
Life 360 (Student Tracker) is a great app if you have a student who will be walking or taking the bus home from school. If your anything like me, that idea can make you a little nervous. The Life 360 app allows you track your child’s progress on their way home and see where they are on a map. There is even a panic button if your child should have an emergency. All you have to do is register their phone, it doesn’t even have to be a smart phone which is a really nice feature of this app.
